The role: MAINTENANCE TEAM LEADER - (Heavy Maintenance)
BAEW (HM)Production Department is currently accepting applications for the above position.
Role Overview
As a Maintenance Team Leader (MTL), you will lead and supervise an assigned maintenance team deliveringaircraftheavy maintenance activity at BAEW (HM), ensuring safe,compliantand efficient delivery of scheduled maintenance,inspectionsand defect rectification.
The role requires you to:
- Lead, supervise and coordinate an assigned team carrying out scheduled maintenance tasks,inspectionsand defect rectification.
- Allocate work,monitorprogressand maintain effective task control,handoversand escalation withinallocatedwork areas.
- Provide leadership, technical support and coaching to technicians, mechanics,traineesand apprentices.
- Maintain standards of safety, airworthiness, quality,housekeepingand productivity in line with BAEW HM expectations.
- Ensure work is completedin accordance withapproved maintenance data, MOE procedures, companyprocessesand regulatory requirements.
- Support team performance, development, competency assurance, riskmanagementand continuous improvement across the maintenance environment.
MinimumCriteria
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a CAA Part-66 Category B1 or B2 licence
- Minimum 3 years'aircraftheavy maintenance experience
- Maintain base maintenance authorisations onone or moreaircrafttypes applicable to BAEW.
- Demonstrated experience in leadingand developingteams inan aircraftmaintenance environment.
