Job Title: Fixed Wire Tester / Fixed Wire Test Electrician Location: London - M25 Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 per annum + Overtime + Company Van Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 – 21:00 (Hours after 17:30 paid at x1.5) The Role We are currently seeking a skilled Fixed Wire Tester / Fixed Wire Test Electrician to join our specialist electrical team working across multiple sites within the London region. This is a mobile role offering excellent overtime opportunities and the chance to work within a supportive and experienced team. The successful candidate will carry out Electrical Inspection & Testing (EICR) and remedial works, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations. Key Responsibilities * Carry out Fixed Wire Testing and EICRs across commercial environments * Undertake electrical inspection, testing and remedial works * Ensure all work complies with BS7671: 18th Edition wiring regulations * Create remedial work reports and documentation * Maintain accurate certification and job records * Work independently while liaising with the wider team * Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures * Provide a professional service to clients and maintain strong customer relationships * Maintain personal and company vehicle records What We Offer * Salary: £45,000 - £48,000 * Daily overtime (paid after 5:30pm) * Company van provided * Monday to Friday working pattern * Opportunities to increase earnings through overtime * Varied work across multiple sites * Supportive team environment * Flexible working hours during school holiday periods Requirements (Essential) * Experience in Fixed Wire Testing within a commercial environment * City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent) * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) * Full UK Driving Licence * Strong organisational and communication skills * Ability to work independently and on own initiative Additional Information * Travel required across various regional sites * Company van provided * Reporting to site management and team leads daily * Standard Vetting required
