About the role
The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams throughout the UK. We provide educational support to individuals who are currently out of mainstream education, those seeking additional support and individuals with SEND.
We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Primary Tutor to join our team and provide 1:1 education support to a Year 2 student in school.
Due to the nature of the students we provide support to, it is desirable that applicants have previous experience working with SEN and SEMH.
Position details:
Location - Bootle (in school)
Position - Primary Tutor
Start date - ASAP
End date - Ongoing
Contract type - Temporary
Full time/part time - Part time
Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £25 per hour
Hours - 9:30am - 11:30am, Monday to FridayExperience, Training and Qualifications:
QTS or equivalent
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
UK classroom teaching experience
Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the boxTo be eligible for this role, you must:
Hold the right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references. Other
