Mechanical Manager

Talented Mechanical Manager required, happy to take the Mechanical Manager on a permanent or freelance basis We are working alongside a growing building main contractor based in London, with an increasing turnover offering secure employment. The successful Mechanical Manager will be proactive and technically strong and will be site based Mayfair, London. The project is a luxury residential fit out, valued build cost £60m. Mechanical Manager’s key responsibilities * Manage and coordinate mechanical design activities on site * Review, manage, and submit technical submittals, RFIs, and design documentation * Ensure approved drawings are followed on site and implemented promptly * Liaise closely with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors * The Mechanical Manager will be expected to manage mechanical paperwork and reporting through electronic document control platforms Requirements for the Mechanical Manager * Minimum 5 years’ experience in a mechanical engineering or mechanical management role * Strong technical knowledge with proven site-based experience * Confident user of electronic platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, ACC, Smartsheet, and other similar * Ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain clear communication between design and site teams * Practical, solutions-focused, and well-organised This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Mechanical Manager to join a successful main contractor into a period of controlled growth, working on a West End landmark project
