Salary: £48,667.50
Hours: 45 Hours per Week 7/8am starts | 5 Days out of 7
Blue Arrow are recruiting for a hands-on Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a prestigious hospitality venue in Staffordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard environment and enjoys working alongside their team to deliver outstanding food.
This is not a stand-back management role, you will be fully operational, setting the tone for quality, consistency and service.
The Role
As Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day kitchen operation, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times while developing and leading your team.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading from the front - cooking, plating and maintaining exceptional standards
Managing daily kitchen operations to ensure consistency and efficiency
Supporting menu development using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce
Training, mentoring and motivating chefs and kitchen staff
Managing stock, controlling costs and reducing waste
Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP and COSHH regulations
Engaging with guests and acting on feedback to drive continuous improvement
About You
We are looking for a confident and experienced Head Chef who brings both leadership and operational strength. xwzovoh
Proven experience in a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef role
Hands-on approach with a passion for fresh, quality food
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and inspire a team
Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills
Solid understanding of food safety, HACCP and kitchen compliance
Flexible approach to working hours including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
