Distribution Supervisor

Join a successful manufacturing business as a Distribution Supervisor and play a key role in keeping customer deliveries running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Distribution Supervisor who enjoys leading teams, driving performance and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced distribution environment. The Distribution Supervisor role is based in High Wycombe, working a rotating shift pattern of 6:00am to 2:30pm and 1:30pm to 10pm. Salary up to £34,000 per annum. Duties * Lead, motivate and support the distribution team to achieve daily targets * Ensure customer orders are accurate, complete and ready for dispatch on time * Carry out quality checks to identify damaged or defective products before loading * Coordinate product movements between sites and prepare overseas shipments * Support drivers and customers with collections and loading activities when required * Monitor stock locations and investigate missing items * Maintain accurate records and complete all documentation correctly * Promote health and safety standards across the distribution operation * Investigate service issues and help implement improvements to prevent repeat problems * Conduct team meetings, appraisals and support employee training and development Experience * At least two years of experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory position * Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, transport or distribution environment * Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail * Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team * Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities * Good IT skills including Microsoft Office * Flexible, reliable and positive approach to work * Team management qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential This Distribution Supervisor position offers a range of benefits including health cover, virtual GP access, company pension, life insurance, cycle to work scheme, employee assistance programme, retail and gym discounts, long service awards, career development opportunities and regular social events.
