We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.

A role has become available in the Water Division at MGroup Ltd. This position sits within the finance team.
What will you be doing?
This role sits within a supportive team that values organisation, clear processes, and ongoing development.
It brings together supply chain and sales ledger support, including:
Processing customer orders and raising invoices
Assisting managers with invoicing queries
Supporting project managers and commercial team members with credit control to help ensure timely payments
Setting up new customers once approvals are complete
Keeping supplier records accurate and up to date
Tracking insurance documents and certifications, and monitoring renewals
Supporting supplier approvals with careful checks and clear records
There’s a wider team element too:
Helping manage finance inboxes and queries
Supporting colleagues and senior finance leads as needed
Maintaining some control accounts and assisting with reporting tasks
This role would suit someone who enjoys structure and routine, takes pride in accuracy, and brings a calm, helpful approach. You’ll be part of a team that’s encouraging, supportive, and focused on helping you grow.
What you'll bring
We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in finance and a thoughtful, organised approach.
Skills and experience:
AAT Level 3 (or above)
Comfortable with spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and finance systems
Experience with Sage preferable but training will be provided
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot patterns in data
Well organised, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ways of working:
Positive, respectful, and easy to work with
Builds strong relationships across teams and with external contacts
Clear and friendly communicator, both written and verbal
Stays calm and responsive when plans change
Approach to work:
Careful, logical, and accurate
Quick to identify and resolve errors
Confident working independently, while supporting the wider team
