Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor - We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor, with M&E experience, to join an award-winning FM company, on a permanent basis. The work will include managing project lifecycles, up to £3 Million in value.   This is a permanent position, suitable for someone looking for long-term career prospects.   Core responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Monitor project expenditures continuously, comparing actual costs against budgets to identify variances early. Implement effective cost control measures to optimize resource allocation and reduce waste. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to negotiate contracts and procurement agreements. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, verify quantities, and ensure adherence to financial plans. Prepare comprehensive reports on financial status, forecasts, and risk assessments for project stakeholders. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, legal regulations, and industry standards related to cost management.  Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. 7:30AM-4PM. Pay: £55’000 per annum + package.   Requirements/Qualifications Over 3 years’ experience as a qualified QS with industry recognised qualifications.
