Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Prospero Teaching are looking for a HLTA to work at a Primary School near Ipswich starting from September 2026. The successful candidate will be covering lessons and also providing support to pupils in class and on a 1:1 basis. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS * Location - Ipswich, Suffolk * Position - HLTA- Higher Level Teaching Assistant * Contract or position start date - September 2026 * Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing booking * Contract type - Long-Term * Full time/part time - Full-Time * Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £115 per day * Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30pm : Mon - Fri EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS * HLTA qualification and experience * GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: * Hold Right to Work in the UK * Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application * Provide two professional child related references OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
