Node.js Developer

Node.js Developer Duration: 6 Months Location: 3 Days per week onsite in Bristol Hours: 40 Hours Per Week Start: ASAP   Overview   We're looking for an experienced Node.js Developer to join a team building scalable, real-time applications in AWS. You'll focus on backend development, event-driven systems, and data streaming solutions, working closely with engineers across the platform.   Essential Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript Experience building APIs and microservices Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, or similar streaming technologies Strong understanding of event-driven architectures Hands-on AWS experience Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases Familiarity with CI/CD and modern development practices   Desirable Skills React development experience Kubernetes or Terraform exposure GraphQL experience Experience with high-volume, real-time systems   Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript Build scalable APIs and data streaming solutions Develop cloud-native applications on AWS Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software Contribute to code reviews, testing, and engineering best practices Optimise application performance, scalability, and reliability
