Brickwork Trainer/Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

Job Title: Brickwork Trainer/Assessor Location: East London - Centre based, with travel required for learner workplace visits Salary: up to £56,000 (Salary depending on qualifications and experience & inclusive of location uplift) Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Bonus opportunities, Pension + more Type: Full Time, Permanent Essential Criteria: * Must hold a minimum of a Level 2 NVQ in Brickwork, coupled with extensive bricklaying experience. * Must have worked on new-build developments, with 1st and 2nd fix experience. * Must have experience of delivering Brickwork Apprenticeships or ‘on the job’ mentoring. * Willingness to undertake the teaching and assessing qualifications - funded by the client. * Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively. * Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people. * Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle. Duties: * Teach/assess learners working towards Brickwork Apprenticeships, across practical and theoretical competencies. * Ensure training materials are up to date and in-line with organisational and regulatory standards. * Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs. * Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression. * Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours * Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
