CNC Turner Pay, Hours and Benefits £40,000 (including nights shift allowance) 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 10:00pm 7:30am Only a 4-day working week 32 days holidays including bank holidays Above average company pension contribution Life insurance On site Gym Secured Parking The CNC Turner Position is Commutable From: Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley, Chorley, Bury, Rochdale CNC Turner Candidate Requirements Time-served engineer (or equivalent qualification) with strong background in high-accuracy machining environments Proven experience operating CNC turning machinery, with ability to confidently set, run, and adjust machines Familiar with CNC controls including Mazak, Fanuc, and Okuma (preferred) Ability to read, interpret, and work accurately from detailed engineering drawings and specifications Experience machining stainless steel components to tight tolerances and quality standards Milling experience advantageous, with a strong understanding of precision manufacturing processes CNC Turner Key Responsibilities (but not limited to) Set up tools, load materials, and operate CNC machines to machine components to specification Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate manufacture to required tolerances Inspect and measure components using appropriate inspection equipment to maintain quality standards Maintain accurate quality records and use computer systems for production/data entry Follow health & safety procedures, maintaining a clean working environment and handling materials up to 25kg Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing principles, and 5S workplace organisation Please Note: Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK.
