GCSE Tutor - Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP) | Immediate Start Prospero Teaching is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic GCSE Tutors to support young people across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole. This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 tuition to students working towards their GCSE qualifications. You will deliver tailored sessions that meet individual learning needs, helping students build confidence, improve attainment, and achieve their academic goals. Tutors will also be required to complete weekly feedback reports to monitor progress and engagement. We work closely with schools, alternative provisions, local authorities, and children's services across the UK and are looking for tutors who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location: Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole (BCP) Position: GCSE Tutor Subjects: English, Maths and/or Science Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Type: Part-time Hours: Flexible Pay Rate: £25 to £30 per hour EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS (Desirable) QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent qualification Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students Previous experience working within a UK educational setting Up-to-date Safeguarding training TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one Provide two professional references related to working with children or young people Have a minimum of one year's experience in an educational setting WHY JOIN PROSPERO TEACHING?
