Fire Alarm Engineer - Freelance

Fire Alarm Engineer - Leeds - Freelance Contract Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a nationwide fire compliance and social housing contractor, who are currently looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join them on a freelance contract that could last upto 1 year. The contract can be started ASAP for the right individual and we will be looking to pay between £210-£230 per day. Key Requirements: * Good Understanding of either BS 5839-1 or BS 5839-6. * ECS Card or CSCS Card. * Good understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and how to read system blueprint. * UK's Driving License Key Responsibilities: * Setting up new conventional or addressable fire alarm panels, detectors, and sounders, then testing them before they go live. * Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) checks to keep existing systems reliable and compliant. * Diagnosing system errors, tracking down wiring or component issues, and replacing broken hardware.
