Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer | Job

We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join a prestigious static site in London. This role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, fault finding, testing, inspections, and electrical installations across a large and technically challenging building environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with current regulations, and supporting the delivery of a high-quality facilities maintenance service. You will also be expected to undertake basic mechanical maintenance duties where required and contribute to the effective operation of the site's planned maintenance programme.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and plant.

* Diagnose and repair electrical faults within agreed timeframes.

* Complete inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations and equipment.

* Undertake small works and electrical installation projects.

* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work.

* Support basic mechanical maintenance activities as required.

Requirements

* Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.

* City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

* Experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

* Good understanding of health and safety legislation
