VAT & PSA Assistant Manager, Professional Services, Gatwick, Pt Remote

VAT & PSA Assistant Manager, PAYE Settlement Agreement, Gatwick, Crawley, West Sussex VAT & PSA Assistant Manager required to work for an exciting Professional Services business based in Gatwick, Crawley, West Sussex. This will be 3 days (Tuesday to Thursday) in the office and the rest from home. We need someone with VAT and PAYE Settlement Agreement experience and someone who ideally has an ATT or CTT certification. You will also be strong with Excel. This is purely internal and client facing advisory including VAT Compliance, Reporting and Tracking, along with doing quarterly VAT returns. Read on for more details: Duties will include: * Maintaining VAT and PAYE Settlement Agreement training materials * Supporting His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs queries * Supporting Senior Accounting Officer reviews * Acting as a contact for audit queries * Month-end support * Escalating compliance issues * Maintaining process documentation * Supporting VAT-related tax governance and compliance controls * Training and communication with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay and Workday teams Experience Required: * Good communication skills both written and verbal. * Good planning, time management and workload management. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * A good knowledge of Excel. Experience with macros/VBA would be helpful, but not essential. * Professional tax qualification (ATT/CTA). This is a great opportunity and salary is dependent upon experience.
