Equity Research Analyst – Global Media & Internet

DescriptionOur client, a leading global asset manager is seeking an experienced Equity Research Analyst to join their Global Equities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering the Global Media and Internet sectors, generating actionable investment insights and supporting Portfolio Managers across a range of investment strategies.Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth fundamental equity research to identify and develop high conviction investment ideasBuild and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the companies and sectors under coverage, including their operational, financial and competitive dynamicsPresent compelling investment ideas to Portfolio Manager across a range of global strategiesBuild detailed financial models and undertake analysis of financial performance, returns on capital, valuation and key investment driversWork closely with other sector analysts to strengthen investment research and idea generationContribute actively in research meetings, sharing differentiated insights and perspectives with colleaguesCandidate profile:8-12+ years of relevant fundamental equity research experienceDeep knowledge and understanding of companies in the Media, Internet and Telecoms sectorsProven ability to find high-conviction investment ideas and articulate them persuasivelyStrong fundamental research and financial modelling skillsExcellent academic backgroundCFA qualification preferredCollaborative team player who thrives in an intellectually rigorous, high-performing investment environmentMason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
