About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a Bexleyheath-based Local Authority for an experienced Employment Advisor to support local residents in overcoming barriers to employment and achieving sustainable job outcomes.

Working with a diverse caseload, you will provide tailored one-to-one support, helping individuals develop the skills, confidence, and motivation needed to move closer to or return to work. This role will involve supporting clients who may be vulnerable, disengaged, or resistant to employment support services, requiring strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, empathetic approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients and provide tailored employment support.
• Conduct assessments and develop personalised action plans.
• Support clients with job searching, CV development, applications, and interview preparation.
• Identify and address barriers to employment, signposting clients to appropriate support services where required.
• Build positive working relationships with employers, training providers, and partner agencies.
