Growing rapidly, the business specialises in taking products from discovery, all the way through early-stage trials and to approval.Due to continued growth and expansion of the business they are seeking to hire a QC Scientist to join their team in Greater Manchester to support the QC testing of products and assisting with Method Development & validation activities. Key ResponsibilitiesHands-on analysis of products using UPLC/HPLCConduct routine pharmacopeial testing, including:IR identificationAppearance testingpH testingContent uniformityDissolution testingWater content analysissupporting method transfers, validations and method development activities for assays, related substances/impurities, dissolution and cleaning validation methods.Supporting root cause investigations into deviations, non-conformance's and out-of-specification (OOS) results, and implementing appropriate CAPAs.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in a relevant scientific discipline such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a similar experience within a related fieldPrior experience in a Quality Control role within a GMP pharmaceutical environment.Hands on experience with UPLC / HPLCPrior experience working with Oral Solid Dose forms & Dissolution testing would be advantageousGuidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
