Android Engineer

Android Engineer 24 month contract Inside IR35 – Paying up to £50 per hour via umbrella. Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office in London or Sussex We are seeking an experienced, Android Engineer to work on mobile applications that are used by tens of millions of users around the world. You will need the following experience: * Building Android applications * Writing and deleting code * Build tools like Gradle, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI * Continuous integration patterns * Finding and fixing bugs * Asynchronous coding patters * Performance analysis and optimization * Dealing with legacy code * Unit and integration testing * Open-source technologies * Working in a globally distributed team * Self-starting with strong time management skills * Integrating with bespoke, lovingly handcrafted backend services from the days of yore * Designing solutions for open-ended problems Experience working with: * Jetpack Compose * MVI Architecture * REST APIs * RAML API documentation * Dagger * okHttp * Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow * RxJava * GitHub Actions * CircleCI * Espresso & JUnit * Test Fakes * WireMock To find out more please apply for my immediate attention
