Hours: 7am-4pm and 1pm-10pm

Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding engineering team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a practical and proactive engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for keeping plant, machinery and facilities running safely and efficiently through a combination of planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
The Role:
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will:
- Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant, machinery and building equipment.
- Complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring work orders are completed within agreed timeframes.
- Fault-find and repair a range of automated manufacturing equipment.
- Carry out electrical installations in line with current regulations.
- Support the installation, commissioning and maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical control issues, including PLC fault-finding.
- Work with AC/DC drives, motors and pumps.
- Undertake mechanical repairs and support other engineering disciplines where required.
- Maintain and document preventative maintenance schedules using a CMMS.
- Identify recurring faults and proactively develop solutions to improve equipment reliability.
- Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team to achieve maintenance and production targets.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company health & safety policies and procedures.
- Take a proactive approach to problem-solving, considering different options to find effective and practical solutions.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer with a strong practical background within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- A City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Engineering.
- 18th Edition qualification.
- Experience working with PLC systems and electrical controls.
- Knowledge of AC/DC drives, motors and pumps.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment.
- Ideally, an apprentice-trained engineering background.
- Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of high-temperature ovens and blow moulders would be advantageous.
- A strong understanding of health & safety within an engineering environment.
