The firm works with an interesting mix of clients, including growing owner-managed businesses, groups and private equity-backed organisations.The position has been created as part of continued growth and offers a supportive environment in which you can complete your professional qualifications while steadily increasing your responsibility. Your new role You will work across a varied portfolio of audit and accounts assignments, gaining exposure to businesses of different sizes and structures.Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the planning and completion of audit assignments Undertaking audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical testing Preparing clear and properly documented audit files Preparing statutory accounts from client records Identifying potential risks or areas requiring further review Liaising directly with clients throughout assignments Working closely with senior colleagues, managers and partners Supporting more junior members of the team as your experience developsThe balance of audit and accounts work will give you broad technical experience rather than limiting you to one area.
