Accounts Assistant Lambourne Full Time – Temp to Perm Salary is dependent on experience Job Description Our client is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their team. This is an office-based role, requiring attendance in the office five days a week, Monday – Friday and is ideal for someone with solid all-round accounts experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities * Processing purchase and sales ledger transactions * Managing invoices, payments, and reconciliations * Maintaining accurate financial records * Assisting with month-end processes * Supporting the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks * Using Xero to manage financial data and reporting * Providing general administrative support to the finance function as required Requirements * Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role with well-rounded accounts experience * Proficiency in Xero is essential * Be happy to work from the office five days per week, Monday - Friday * Be organised, accurate, and have excellent attention to detail. * Have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Desirable * Previous experience working with purchase ledger and sales ledger is desirable; however, we can be flexible. * A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to work.
