Facilities Maintenance Technician | Maintenance Technician | Facilities Technician | Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician Devon & Cornwall | £30,000-£37,000 per annum | Monday-Friday | 8am-5pm | Permanent | Field-Based Introduction Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to join a field-based Facilities Management team supporting one of the UK's largest retail clients across a nationwide estate. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled maintenance professional with experience across building fabric trades to take on a varied field-based role covering Devon and Cornwall. You'll carry out both planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose repair requirements and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while delivering excellent customer service across client sites. What We Offer £30,000-£37,000 per annum, depending on experience. Permanent, full-time position. Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Field-based role covering Devon and Cornwall. Tools supplied. Key Duties Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across building fabric disciplines. Diagnose and assess repair requirements at customer sites. Complete maintenance and repair works to agreed standards and SLAs. Support the preparation of quotations and estimates for repair works. Complete job documentation, including photographs, materials used and detailed service reports. Manage tools, equipment and van stock effectively. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety requirements. Follow customer site procedures and facilities management processes. Identify potential issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and site contacts. Deliver a professional, reliable and customer-focused service at all times. Requirements Previous experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance or a multi-skilled maintenance role. Experience across multiple building fabric trades. Strong practical problem-solving and fault-finding skills. Ability to assess repair requirements and estimate works accurately. Good understanding of health and safety requirements. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload across multiple sites. Strong customer service skills and a professional approach. Full UK driving licence is essential due to the field-based nature of the role. Interested?
