Design Manager

Role Overview

As Design Manager at Discovery Land Company, you will oversee the day‑to‑day management and coordination of design projects across the portfolio, ensuring high‑quality delivery and client satisfaction.

You will conduct design reviews, manage budgets, coordinate with stakeholders, and lead multidisciplinary teams through the entire project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and coordinate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee design integrity, quality standards and programme adherence.
• Review and manage design scopes, budgets and technical documentation, including AutoCAD and Revit drawings.
• Conduct design workshops, stage reviews and buildability reviews.
• Provide guidance on planning and building regulations.
• Present progress to stakeholders and owners.
• Ensure compliance with brief, design guidelines and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Design Manager with strong technical and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder coordination and communication skills.

Spanning 8,000 majestic acres, Taymouth Castle Golf and Sport Club is a private residential, golf, and sporting community in the Western Grampians of Scotland.

We are situated on the A827 between Kenmore and Aberfeldy. Close to the A9. Perth (1 hour), Stirling (2 hours) and Edinburgh Airport (1.5 hours); Glasgow (2 hours).
