About the role

A growing multi-office building consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Building Surveyor to take a leading role within their Exeter office, supporting ongoing expansion across the South West. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants real responsibility in a smaller regional team, with the backing of an established business and a strong pipeline of work across both public and private sector clients. What you’ll be doing: Leading delivery of core Building Surveying services across a mixed portfolio Running dilapidations instructions, schedules of condition, and defect diagnosis work Delivering professional services across commercial and residential assets Acting as the main client contact on a number of key instructions Overseeing project delivery and ensuring quality from inception to completion Supporting the development of junior surveyors within the Exeter office Working closely with senior leadership to grow the regional presence What we’re looking for: Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) Strong all-round consultancy experience (professional-focused preferred) Confident working independently and managing client relationships Experience delivering dilapidations and professional surveying services Some experience supporting or guiding junior team members Commercially aware with a practical, solutions-focused approach What’s on offer: £60,000 – £75,000 (DOE) Bonus scheme + benefits package Hybrid working with flexibility Clear route to Senior Associate level Strong influence in shaping a growing Exeter office Varied workload across sectors with strong local pipeline For a confidential discussion, contact Max Condie on (phone number removed) or apply directly
