Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 basic + up to £12,000 Bonus

Benjamin Edwards Recruitment are working on an exclusive retained basis with ASC Metals in Lincoln to help grow and shape their sales team. Are you a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building relationships, winning business, and delivering excellent customer service?
ASC is a well-established and growing business operating within the industrial and manufacturing supply sector. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Internal Sales Executive to join their successful team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with sales, account management, customer service, or commercial experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop a long-term career within a growing organisation.
The Opportunity
As an Internal Sales Executive, you'll be at the heart of the business, managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, converting opportunities into orders, and developing strong relationships with customers across a diverse range of industries.
You'll work closely with operational teams to ensure customers receive an exceptional service while identifying opportunities to maximise sales and account growth.
Key Responsibilities
Managing inbound customer enquiries via telephone and email
Preparing and following up quotations to maximise conversion rates
Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
Developing existing accounts and identifying new sales opportunities
Negotiating pricing and commercial terms within agreed parameters
Working collaboratively with purchasing, operations, and logistics teams
Monitoring stock availability and recommending suitable alternatives where required
Resolving customer queries and providing outstanding customer service
Supporting wider sales and business development activities
Contributing towards sales growth, margin improvement, and customer retention targets
About You
We're keen to hear from individuals who can demonstrate:
Experience within sales, account management, customer service,
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
A proactive and customer-focused approach
Confidence managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Previous experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial products, metals, steel, construction, distribution, or technical sales environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
