Parts Advisor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a busy and successful Parts Department based in Farnham. Working as part of a high performing team, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while driving sales and profitability. This is a fast paced, customer facing role where attention to detail, organisation, and a proactive sales approach are essential. You will also be required to support deliveries when needed, so a full UK driving licence is essential. What’s on Offer Location: Farnham Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £31,600 per annum  Key Responsibilities Handle all incoming internal and external calls, taking full ownership of enquiries Process customer orders via trade counter, phone, email, and online platforms Proactively maximise sales through upselling and cross-selling opportunities Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business Actively generate additional sales, particularly during quieter periods Monitor and maintain stock levels, placing orders where required Accurately complete all administration and invoicing processes Ensure stock accuracy by invoicing parts before dispatch Use catalogues and systems to correctly identify parts for customer requirements Maintain up-to-date price lists and product knowledge Adhere to company policies including credit control and payment procedures Operate a forklift truck safely (where applicable) Support health & safety practices and maintain a clean working environment Deliver parts to customers when required  Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Parts Advisor role (essential) Strong technical knowledge of parts and components Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organisational and administrative ability IT literate (Microsoft Word & Excel) Forklift licence (desirable) Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player High attention to detail and accuracy Full UK driving licence (essential)  How to Apply If you are an experienced Parts Advisor looking for your next opportunity in a busy and rewarding environment, we would love to hear from you.
