Maintenance Technician – Cardiff – £43,500 + 5% Bonus – Double Days A well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Cardiff is currently experiencing a significant period of expansion and is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the addition of a Maintenance Technician. The Role As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment through both reactive and planned maintenance. The successful Maintenance Technician will be responsible for minimising downtime and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding as a Maintenance Technician * Troubleshoot and diagnose PLC-related issues * Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities * Support production teams to ensure maximum machine efficiency * Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability projects Requirements: * Proven experience working as a Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Experience with PLC troubleshooting * Electrical Qualifications Level 3 or above * Proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving This role would suit a motivated Maintenance Technician looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and expanding organisation.
