M&A - Corporate Due Diligence (FIG) - 6 month contract outside IR35

We are looking for an experienced M&A professional with solid FIG expertise (insurance preferred) to support a major transaction. This contract role will provide advisory support across the full deal lifecycle—from commercial due diligence to integration planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advisory support on an M&A transaction within the insurance sector.
• Conduct commercial due diligence, including market analysis and target evaluation.
• Advise on deal structuring, value creation opportunities, and integration strategy.
• Partner with client stakeholders to shape recommendations and drive actionable insights.
• Prepare clear, high-impact presentations and reports for senior executives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in FIG M&A advisory (insurance preferred).
• Background in strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate development.
• Strong expertise in commercial due diligence and post-deal integration planning.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Confident working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Able to start at short notice.
