Salary:£31,991 + £7,997 shift allowance (Total £39,989)
Hours:37 per week (3-shift rotation)
We are recruiting for a Forge Inspector on behalf of a leading manufacturing client. This role is key to ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across forging and inspection operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect forged components, dies, and machined partsCarry out hot and black forge inspectionsRead and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsUse precision measuring equipment and perform numerical calculationsSupport production targets, quality standards, and continuous improvementEnsure compliance with health & safety procedures and safe systems of workWork flexibly across multiple inspection areas as requiredRequirements:
Time-served engineer (HNC or equivalent)Strong numerical and problem-solving skillsExperience in quality inspection and manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of safe working practices and quality systemsAbility to work shifts and adapt to business needsDesirable:
Experience reading technical drawings and using inspection tools
