Carpenter Oak Frame Construction (Temporary) Location: GU26 (Surrey) Job Type: Temporary Contract Rate: £192-£200/day (DOE) The Opportunity Our client, a specialist contractor, is looking for an experienced Carpenter on a temporary basis to support the construction of a bespoke oak frame building in the GU26 area. This is a great short-term opportunity to be involved in a high-quality timber project using traditional methods. Key Responsibilities Assist with the construction and erection of an oak frame structure Carry out accurate carpentry and joinery work to a high standard Work with solid oak and traditional timber framing techniques Support the wider site team to keep the project on schedule Maintain a safe and tidy working environment Requirements Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally with oak frame or timber frame experience Strong structural carpentry knowledge Ability to work from drawings with minimal supervision Own tools and PPE Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold) Reliable and able to hit the ground running Whats on Offer Competitive hourly/day rates Short-term contract Opportunity to work on a bespoke oak frame build Potential for further work depending on performance
