Job Title: Strip Fitter Location: Chorley Salary: £40,000 per annum + annual team bonus About the Role: We’re currently seeking an experienced Strip Fitter to join our client’s busy and growing site in Chorley on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled team working to high standards in a modern workshop environment. Key Responsibilities: * Strip and refit exterior and interior vehicle components to manufacturer standards * Work closely with Paint and MET Technicians to ensure smooth workflow through the workshop * Identify and report any additional damage or parts requirements * Maintain high levels of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail Experience & Requirements: * Proven experience as a Strip Fitter or MET Technician within an automotive bodyshop environment * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Glasswork experience (windscreen and window fitting/removal) would be highly beneficial, but not essential * A strong work ethic and commitment to quality What’s on Offer: * Permanent position * £40,000 per annum * Annual team bonus (£5,000) * Supportive working environment and opportunities for career growth If you’re an experienced Strip Fitter looking for a stable, long-term role with excellent earning potential, we’d love to hear from you
