7.5t / Class 2 Drivers

Direct Response Employment Services are seeking 7.5t or class 2 drivers to support our clients in the local area with ad-hock driving. We are looking for drivers who have commercial driving experience and ideally immediately available or available at a few days notice for work. Key Duties * Safe driving: Operating a vehicle in accordance with road traffic laws and company safety guidelines. * Delivery execution: Completing deliveries to various customer locations within a designated area, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods. * Loading and unloading: Loading and securing cargo onto the vehicle, and unloading deliveries at customer premises, potentially requiring manual handling. * Paperwork management: Completing delivery paperwork, including signature capture and recording delivery details. * Vehicle checks: Conducting pre-shift vehicle inspections, reporting any faults or defects to the appropriate personnel. * Compliance with regulations: Adhering to driving hours regulations and tachograph usage. You will have prior experience of driving a class 2 / 7.5t vehicle along with having at least 6 months commercial driving experience and be aged over 23 years with no more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes. You must have held your license for at least 1 year and have a valid Digi Card and CPC in place. Various start times available so please get in touch for a further chat
