You will: * Act as a positive role model and shift leader for the team * Create a warm, safe, and stable home environment * Support children and young people with daily routines, education, appointments, and activities * Take key-worker responsibility and contribute to care planning and reviews * Use trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches to support behaviour * Build strong relationships with families, social workers, and professionals * Ensure safeguarding, recording, and handovers meet high standards About You We are looking for individuals who: * Are passionate about residential childcare and child-centred care * Are calm, resilient, and emotionally intelligent * Enjoy leading, supporting, and developing others * Have strong communication and written skills * Want to grow with a new service and be part of its journey Essential Requirements * Minimum age: 22 years * Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting * Ability to work rota-based shifts including sleep ins * Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare * Hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare or Children and Young People’s Workforce.
