Your role is to take that story to market — building newrelationships, re-engaging existing ones, and creating opportunities wherethere is clear potential to grow. You will shape and sell enterprise technology, managed services, andprofessional services-led engagements, typically complex, multi-stakeholderopportunities such as:      Enterprise platformmodernisation      Application modernisation      End-to-end digital workplacedesign, supply, integration, and management      Workflow automation andprocess transformation       Real-world AI use casedevelopment and implementation      Success in this role comes from your ability to create momentum, leadvirtual teams, and deliver outcomes for customers — not just close deals.Key responsibilities:Build and execute a new business strategy across alargely untapped territoryGenerate pipeline through targeted prospecting,networking, and structured engagement plansIdentify, re-engage, and grow relationships leveragingSCC’s existing regional footprintEngage at CIO / senior leadership level, shapingopportunities through early discoveryDevelop and position enterprise, managed, andprofessional services solutions aligned to customer outcomesTake full ownership of opportunities end-to-end — fromcreation through to successful closeMaintain accountability post-sale, ensuring alignmentbetween what is sold, delivered, and achievedAct as a customer advocate, supporting delivery teamsto ensure successful execution and customer confidenceLead virtual teams across sales, technical, delivery,and partners to design and deliver complex solutionsCreate alignment, clarity, and shared accountabilityacross stakeholders involved in opportunitiesBuild strong internal and vendor relationships tostrengthen propositions and executionRepresent and promote SCC’s capability, credentials,and success in the regionMaintain a robust pipeline and forecasting disciplineDeliver against growth and margin targetsMake balanced, commercially sound decisions based onwhat is right for SCC and the customerSkills and experience:Ideallydegree educated.Full UK DrivingLicense. 10years’ sales experience, which will include circa 5+ years experience workingfor an IT Services Provider. Proven experience in new business sales, ideallywithin technology, managed services, or professional services.Track record of building pipeline and revenue from a cold or white-spaceterritory.Experience sellingenterprise-scale, complex solutions involving multiple stakeholders.Strong understanding of managed services,enterprise technology, and professional services-led engagements.Experience working in or alongside publicsector organisations is highly desirable.Established network within the North East public sector ecosystem isadvantageous.About YouAbout UsSCC is Europe's largest privately-owned IT business, based out of the new 7m HQ office in Birmingham and we help clients succeed through IT transformation and exceptional customer experiences.
