Shift Leader Salary – up to £32k (Dependant on experience) Bridgnorth Immediate start is available We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Leader to join a well-established manufacturing business in Telford. Salary & Benefits Up to £32,000 per annum Immediate start available Ongoing training and development Career progression opportunities Supportive manufacturing environmentKey Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives Ensure production schedules and daily targets are achieved Monitor and report on KPIs Maintain training records and skills matrices Conduct appraisals and manage attendance and performance Support recruitment and onboarding Drive Lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement activities Ensure quality and production documentation is completed accurately Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Planning teams Manage effective shift handovers Promote a positive and high-performing team culture Health & Safety Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies Carry out risk assessments and address hazards Promote safe working practices and PPE use Maintain a clean and organised work environment What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Shift Leader, Production Supervisor or Team Leader Strong manufacturing or production background Experience managing KPIs and production targets Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and 5S Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Hands-on and proactive approach Shift Patterns 06:00 – 14:00 14:00 – 22:00 Fridays: 06:00 – 10:00 and 10:00 – 14:00 If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, please hit “Apply” now
