Job Overview: Full-time, Monday - Friday English Teacher role. Teach English Language and English Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates. Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons. Inspire students to develop strong literacy, analytical and communication skills. Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure excellent outcomes. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive. Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school team. Contribute to curriculum development, intervention programmes and enrichment opportunities. Support students in preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations. You will play a key role in developing students' confidence, critical thinking skills and appreciation of literature and language. What We're Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. A degree in English, English Literature, English Language or a related subject. Experience teaching English at secondary level. A passion for literacy, literature and student achievement. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. The ability to engage, motivate and inspire learners of all abilities.
