Position: Assistant Support Worker Location: Hitchin Salary: £25,506 per annum Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Join our caring and collaborative team at Napier Close, a vibrant supported living service for adults with learning disabilities. About the Role As an Assistant Support Worker, you’ll play an important part in helping people live independently. You will: Support daily life skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and budgeting Assist with medication and general wellbeing Organise activities and community trips Encourage personal goals and greater independence Build compassionate, meaningful relationships that make a real differenceShifts include: 3pm-11pm + sleep-in (11pm-8am) + 8am-4pm 10am-6pm 11am-7pm What We are Looking For: Full UK Driving Licence + access to a car Flexibility for sleep-ins (minimum one per week) Reliability and a passion for making a difference Hightown Benefits £25,506 per annum (37.5 hours per week) 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays, rising to 35 days with service Blue Light Card, access to thousands of discounts for national and local retailers Mileage paid for car usage Workplace pension and life assurance (three times annual salary) Annual performance bonus and monthly attendance bonus Annual salary and cost of living review Ongoing training and development Employee assistance helplineWe will be shortlisting and interviewing on an ongoing basis so may close the vacancy early.
