About the role
Meritus Talent is supporting a leading aviation maintenance organisation in the North East with the recruitment of experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineers on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers looking for long-term stability, varied base maintenance work, and the chance to work within a growing Part 145 environment. We're looking for B1s who hold both Airbus A320 Family and Boeing 737NG type ratings and are passionate about delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality maintenance.
The Opportunity
As a Certifying B1 Engineer, you'll play a key role in the delivery of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, ensuring aircraft are maintained and released to service in line with regulatory and customer requirements.
You'll supervise maintenance teams, provide technical leadership on the hangar floor, and work closely with planning, quality, and operations teams to ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
