An excellent opportunity for a Rural Property Solicitor or Associate to join an established Aberdeen-based team advising on a wide range of land and rural matters. This role offers exposure to high-quality transactional and advisory work across Scotland’s evolving rural and agricultural sector.
This position is suited to a property lawyer looking to diversify into rural work or further develop existing experience within a collaborative and progressive environment.

The role

As a Rural Property Solicitor in Aberdeen, you will advise on a broad range of transactional and advisory matters, including the sale and purchase of farms, forestry and estates.
You will support clients with rural development projects, including renewables and land use initiatives, as well as advising on agricultural tenancies, landlord and tenant issues and succession planning.
The role also involves working on partnership matters and assisting clients with long-term land management and estate planning.

About you

This role would suit a Solicitor who:

• 
  
• Has 3–5 years’ PQE in property or real estate law
• Has an interest in rural property, land or development work
• Demonstrates organisational and communication skills
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Works well as part of a team and manages deadlines effectively
• Is keen to develop expertise in a specialist area of property law
