Retail Assistant

Location: Lion Yard Shopping Centre, Cambridge, CB2 3NE
Assignment Start Date: ASAP
Shift Times: Between 9:00am and 6:00pm (depending on the day – schedule provided in advance)
Pay: £12.75 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary Assignment

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Retail Assistants to support the operations of a beauty store. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-profile retail project and work within a supportive team environment.

This role would suit individuals who enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in their work, and have a keen eye for detail.

The Role

* Assisting customers face to face

* Recommending products to customers

* Moving and organising stock throughout the store

* Merchandising products and creating attractive displays

* Maintaining presentation standards

* Supporting the wider team

* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

The Ideal Candidate

* High attention to detail

* Positive and proactive attitude

* Strong teamwork skills and commitment to completing tasks

* Able to handle products, fixtures, and equipment with care

* Previous retail, merchandising, or warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential

* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

* Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks
