We are supporting an NHS organisation seeking Band 8c Head of Financial Services providing strategic and operational leadership across financial accounting, treasury management, capital accounting, statutory reporting, financial systems, and financial governance.

This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to influence financial decision-making at an organisational level while leading a skilled team responsible for delivering high-quality financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of statutory accounts, annual reports, financial returns, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Ensure robust financial governance, internal controls, balance sheet management, and compliance with NHS and accounting standards
• Oversee treasury management, cash flow forecasting, working capital, and capital accounting processes
• Provide expert technical accounting advice to senior leaders, Executive Directors, and key stakeholders
