Job Title: Children's Support Worker Location: East Sussex and surrounding areas Salary: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour About the Role: We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Workers to join our team across East Sussex and surrounding areas. This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people with a range of needs, helping them to achieve positive outcomes and live fulfilling lives in a safe and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people Promote emotional well-being, independence, and personal development Support with daily routines, including education, activities, and appointments Build positive, trusting relationships with service users Maintain accurate records and follow care plans Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and other professionalsRequirements: Minimum of 6 months' experience working with children or young people in the UK Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable, not essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekendsDesirable (but not essential): Restraint training (e.g. MAPA, CPI, or equivalent) Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care or ChildcareWhat We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of £17.00 - £19.00 Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Supportive team environment Flexible working patternsIf you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people, we would love to hear from you.
