We are recruiting for an experienced 360 Excavator Operator / Vehicle Dismantler to join a busy site in Nottingham on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an immediate start opportunity for a reliable candidate with experience operating 360 machineries within a vehicle dismantling, recycling, scrap metal, or similar yard environment.
Job Details
- Job Title: 360 Excavator Operator | Vehicle Dismantler
- Location: Nottingham, NG7
- Pay: £14.50 - £15.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm
- Overtime:5 hours paid at x 1.25 overtime rate
- Contract: Temporary to permanent
- Start Date: Immediate start available
The Role
You will be responsible for operating a 360 Excavator / 360 Material Handler to dismantle cars safely and efficiently. No magnetic attachments are required for this role.
Duties will include:
- Operating a 360 Excavator / 360 Material Handler to dismantle vehicles
- Working safely within a busy vehicle dismantling or recycling environment
- Moving, sorting, and processing vehicles and materials as required
- Carrying out basic daily checks on machinery before use
- Following all site health and safety procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience operating a 360 Excavator or 360 Material Handler
- Experience within vehicle dismantling, scrap metal, recycling, waste, or a similar yard environment
- A good understanding of health and safety procedures
- A reliable, hardworking attitude
