About you:

  • Previous experience in a Claims Handler role, ideally with broker or insurer backgrounds
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end claims process and insurance cover basics
  • Strong organisational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in systems like Acturis or Open GI being advantageous
  • Motivated to deliver outstanding customer service and professional to handle queries confidently
  • Satisfy all pre-employment checks, including criminal records and credit

What you'll do:

  • Manage a variety of claims including motor, household, commercial, liability, and personal injury
  • Accurately process claims from notification to settlement, liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, and clients
  • Provide expert advice on policy coverage and loss mitigation
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure claims are handled efficiently
  • Identify complex or high-value claims and escalate appropriately
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, company policies, and best practices
  • Support the preparation of management reports and handle customer queries with professionalism
