MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (Electrical) Job Title – Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location –Birchington  Salary – £50,000+ Overtime  Shift – Monday to Friday Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer A highly experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in FMCG manufacturing and industrial factory environments. Proven ability to work in fast-paced production settings carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance across automated and high-speed production machinery. Extensive hands-on experience in breakdown response, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and condition-based maintenance (CBM), ensuring maximum equipment uptime, reliability, and production efficiency. Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding capability across conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, control systems, and HV/LV equipment. Comfortable working independently or as part of an engineering team within demanding factory environments where downtime must be minimised. Sector – FMCG / Manufacturing / Factory Maintenance / Industrial Production Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical bias (essential) Electrically qualified – minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical Maintenance or equivalent (essential) Strong factory / manufacturing background (essential) Essential Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience across industrial machinery NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Maintenance Experience working within FMCG manufacturing or factory production environments Maintenance of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, sprockets, pneumatics, and hydraulics Experience with HV/LV electrical systems and industrial switchgear Strong understanding of three-phase motors, control systems, sensors, relays, and contactors Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced production environment with minimal downtime tolerance Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Previous UK manufacturing / factory maintenance experience PLC fault-finding experience (inputs/outputs understanding) Condition-based maintenance (CBM), ultrasound, and thermal inspection experience Experience working in high-volume FMCG production environments Experience supporting or working within structured engineering teams The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Will Benefit From Opportunity to work in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment Training and development opportunities Exposure to modern production machinery and automated systems Competitive salary package  If you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert or contact Adem Halil (phone number removed)
