About the role

The Team Manager will lead the team advocating for young people, supporting staff to deliver the service, and working creatively and collaboratively to achieve the highest possible standards of performance in Ceredigion County Council’s Through Age and Wellbeing model of service delivery.

Responsibilities

The role reports to Corporate Managers, works with other Team Managers to ensure consistent management across service areas, and may deputise for Corporate Managers at various levels. The Team Manager has corporate responsibility to support Council objectives and standards, ensuring service activities are consistently managed to meet corporate and service objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

An Enhanced DBS check is required. The presence of previous convictions will not automatically disqualify a candidate; each applicant will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis. We seek an inclusive and supportive professional who can work with a range of stakeholders.

Benefits and Salary

Relocation allowance of up to £8,000 (including VAT) may be available. The advertised salary is subject to the 2026/2027 national pay award and will be adjusted accordingly. The position offers the opportunity to work within a strong team of Personal Advisors and Social Workers supporting Care Leavers.
