Construction Coordinator / Administrator

Construction Administrator / Coordinator / Social Values – Oldham We are recruiting for a Construction Coordinator to join a busy and growing construction company based in Oldham. This is a varied role working closely with the Bid Team, customers and wider business, with a particular focus on Social Value, community engagement and customer relationships. Key duties will include: * Supporting the Bid Team with Social Value content for new projects and tenders * Helping develop initiatives around local employment, apprenticeships and work experience * Building relationships with local schools, colleges, community groups and charities * Supporting community engagement activities connected with construction projects * Monitoring and promoting the positive social impact of developments * Attending meetings with clients and supporting customer events * Liaising with existing customers and maintaining strong relationships * Helping coordinate Social Value commitments throughout live projects * Managing and updating the company’s social media channels * Promoting community initiatives, project successes and Social Value achievements * Working with site teams and internal departments to gather information for bids, reports and marketing The ideal candidate will: * Have some previous experience working within the construction sector * Be confident dealing with clients, contractors and members of the community * Have strong communication and organisational skills * Be comfortable attending meetings and events * Have an interest in Social Value, community engagement and the wider impact of construction projects * Be confident using social media for business purposes This would suit someone from a construction coordination, bid support, customer liaison, community engagement, marketing or Social Value background who is looking for a varied role within a busy construction business.
