Based in Portsmouth, this Logistics and Distribution Coordinator position sits at the centre of a busy operation where no two days are the same, and as a Logistics and Distribution Coordinator you’ll be trusted to manage customer accounts, coordinate shipments, and keep communication flowing between departments while working closely with manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics teams to meet delivery expectations and maintain high service levels. Key Responsibilities: Manage assigned customer accounts as a Logistics and Distribution Coordinator Process sales orders from receipt through to dispatch Prepare export and customs documentation Organise and liaise with freight forwarders and carriers Work closely with manufacturing and purchasing to meet delivery deadlines Maintain accurate and organised documentation and records Handle internal and external enquiries, including telephone queries Release parts within the system, including pricing and lead times Escalate any issues impacting customer service or delivery Essential Skills: Proven experience as a Logistics and Distribution Coordinator or in a similar role Strong background in shipping, logistics, and distribution Confident using Microsoft Dynamics Good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach Strong organisational skills and attention to detail A team-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively If you’re an experienced Logistics and Distribution Coordinator who wants to be part of a business that values people and progress, apply directly or call Kate at Holt Engineering on (phone number removed) for more information
